We were learning to (W.A.L.T.) measure using non-standard measurements.
We measured using our hands but it wasn't right. The hand measurements told us that Egypt was 16 hands and Payton was just 13 hands. But Payton is taller than Egypt you can see in our pictures. We checked to see if the hands were the same size and to see if we were leaving big gaps between each hand measure.
Next day
W.A.L.T.  measure using standard units.
So we decided to make our own measuring strips. All the measuring spaces were the same size. YES! that worked now the measuring told us that Payton is taller than Egypt. Payton is 16 and a half and Egypt is 14 and a half.
